They really gotta get a top goaler in there fast. I said last week that if this was a lost season for the Flames it wouldn't be the worst thing, but when that season is lost basically solely because your goaltending stinks that's much tougher to swallow.

Wonder if they take a flyer on Cam Ward at some point if Carolina starts to drop from the middle of the pack. He wasn't awful last season and has pretty much picked up where he left off so far this year.

Probably too early. Really limited options though so it could happen.

You know what is encouraging though is the play of Sam Bennett - He may not be Connor McDavid, but he's gonna be a darn fine player in this league.

Hey dash the Isles are carrying 3 goalies. Berube would have to clear waivers if he's sent down. I guess they figure he'd get claimed by somebody. He's likely to spend the season in the press box. I'm actually surprised with all the depth in goal. They even have a rookie playing well in Bridgeport & 3 other young goalies yet to be signed. I only bring this up because it's obvious the Flames biggest problem is in goal. Maybe a deal can be made??
