They are all bad but that deal to Seattle would get any GM fired.

Which would have made it even funnier if he still signed in Columbus.
Mason Raymond, Keith Ballard, Darren Langdon's underwear, and a 2nd.

I really hate VegasSeven potential Matthew Tkachuk trade destinations
It was always possible that Matthew Tkachuk’s time in Calgary could be short. Now, it could be over.theathletic.com
St. Louis Blues
Nashville Predators
Detroit Red Wings
New Jersey Devils
New York Islanders
Vegas Golden Knights
Dallas Stars
How in the everloving fuck does Vegas think they are in on this unless they send Eichel, Pietro or Stone to Calgary?
I really hate Vegas
"____________ is a key piece to our future and we are super excited to bring him to Vegas"Vegas is all right, they just have a impatient owner and a GM who are in win-now mentality and are shedding draft picks faster than a snake sheds his skin.
Hope Hubie gets the respect he wants in Calgary and signs long term there.
Same here with Seth Jones. Yeah, I would have been fine if he stayed, but him wanting to move on worked out great for us.On another board I frequent, people have posted that he spends considerable time during the off-season in the Calgary area. As Johnny Carson used to say, "I did not know that". All I know is that he's obviously looking to cash in on his next contract, Treliving and Hubi have some time to get a deal done. Kudos to Matthew Tkachuk by the way for communicating his desire that he wouldn't be signing long term in Calgary, I was hoping he was going to be in Calgary for some time, but he got the trade he wanted and the Flames got a great package for him.
Wow. Matt Tkachuk is a really good player but the Panthers got ripped off here.
Huberdeau =/> Tkachuk
Weegar = top 4 RD (most rare commodity on the league)
1st round pick in 3 years (Panthers window could close by then)
Treliving fleeced the the Pans, IMO.
Obviously, it depends on whether or not they sign a new deal with the Flames, but even if they don't, I have to think Treliving should be able to acquire some high draft picks and/or top prospects.
I guess the question is does he risk it all again if the Flames are in first place in February. If both walk after the year and the Flames don’t win a Cup it’s a bit problematic.Obviously, it depends on whether or not they sign a new deal with the Flames, but even if they don't, I have to think Treliving should be able to acquire some high draft picks and/or top prospects.
