Yeah they got the Leafs’ goat. Especially weird considering the Leafs have been a very good regular season team in that time and Vancouver for long parts of that haven’t.

Paul Morris, the voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs inside Maple Leaf Gardens for nearly four decades, has passed away.

His was the arena voice of the Leafs, synonymous with the team. I can’t still hear his voice.

Nothing Fancy or over the top, just did his job well. I wish the Preds guy (coincidentally also named Paul) was half as good

Rolling stops are maybe the most irksome thing to me. Running a stop sign should be one of the biggest fines out there. The easiest way to miss people in crosswalks and other traffic on a non-four way stop is to not take that second to fully stop and look around.

I have a terrible intersection near my house right in front of a daycare and it’s actually stunning to me that nobody has been hit there to the best of my knowledge. Basically a stop-optional intersection.

When I was working in Atlanta all those years ago, I would take the MARTA train to and from work because it was two blocks away from my apartment and it dropped me off a couple of blocks away from the office (in other words, very convenient). I did have to cross one busy intersection to get to the MARTA train station though and let's just say motorists were not very patient with pedestrians.

I found out later that the intersection I was crossing was rated highest for pedestrian mishaps with automobiles lol

Leafs 2-0 when teams have to walk to the rink because traffic is god awful. Need to start keeping Lake Shore and Queens Quay a nightmare until 7 pm regularly.
