We're hypothesising that it's due to the expansion draft quotas for available players. After watching Saturday, I see why Corrado has not played much. But why for the love of all that is holy, is Marincin still on this team?
And here I thought Ballard sold the damn things.

Maybe it's just me but I can't believe nobody would take a chance on Holland. If Babcock is really that insistent on Ben Smith then ok, fine, but Holland is probably worth 30-40 pts on a decent-enough 3rd line. Oh well.
Writing was kinda on the wall when they waived him this summer and nobody claimed.I suspect that at least one or two teams is looking and saying "if they don't want to play him over Ben Smith then they obviously don't want him at all. So why should we give up anything to get a player like that?"
I doubt that he had much trade value to begin with but they've pretty much killed it with his usage anyway.
Honestly? Wouldn't shock me. Go good with the Martin-Smith-Hunwak gang Babs is building.Or maybe just maybe the Leafs are interested in Deryk Engelland?
