I was not sold on Abramov and Davidsson at the time of the trade but man they both look like players.

Duclair was never going to work with Torts but I feel like he's grown up. The guy is dynamite right now.

Ottawa has become a pretty deep, fast, hardworking team. They severely lack skill at just about every position but they'll beat a team that is weak down in the 3rd 4th lines and/or teams that don't work very hard. The Oilers were both of those things last night.

Also, Zaitsev is a pretty mediocre defenseman who is just okay. It looks like he may also be aterrible human being. But I wouldn't wish his current lot in life on anyone. Playing with Borowiecki must be making this guy beg to get sent to Siberia.
