Friedman was on the Sportnet panel last night saying that if the Sens are going to lose, you might as well make them entertaining losses. They have some pretty good young guys on the roster, it could be a rough couple of years, but if they keep the young guys together, who knows?

All true except for the who knows part. Some of the young guys look great and probably their best forward in camp is in the AHL because Melnyk won't pay Max McCormick a one-way salary to play in the AHL.

The problem is that as soon as these young players need to get paid they'll be shipped out to save money... unless Melnyk sells. I hope attendance drops below 5,000 a night until he fucks off.

I didn't like the pick when it was made but he has proven me wrong and then some (so far) every time I've watched him. Hopefully I was well and truly wrong. The kid looks like a beast so far.
