Saw Oleksiak is signing with Seattle too. Hope Dallas has a backup plan to pair with their $8 million boy or people are gonna start sniffing around his defensive abilities (or lack thereof).

There were rumblings yesterday that they are in play on Jones. The rumored talks apparently are centered on Klingberg which I would love but doesn't make any sense from Dallas' point of view.

I would prefer the talks start around Hintz.

1) WHY do teams a favor by taking a UFA you were signing anyway?
2) Vanacek is solid. Could be a good one if he puts it together.

Looch was the first name to get thrown around when McConnell announced he authorized a spend to the cap to take on bad contracts to improve the team. Monahan would be the exact guy we need, IMO.

Yeah I saw those Klingberg rumors. I like him a lot and if things don’t work well for Columbus they can flip him pretty easily.

and my guess re UFA expansion picks is they prefer the cap space. Understandable if they want to chase Hamilton or others.
