Ideally I would move one of the struggling franchises. However I think there is plenty of talent for 32 NHL teams. The question whether there are 32 viable markets is a bit more tricky, but I think there probably is. It's probably close though.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan just said she got a call from Sea Island, Georgia. Unanimous vote. The NHL is officially coming to Seattle.

Expected 1st season is 2021/22 with the same expansion rules as Vegas. Vegas is exempt from the expansion draft and will not receive a piece of the expansion fee.

Also, division alignment change is that Arizona will move to the Central division in 2021 and Seattle will join the Pacific.

NHL Better be careful or they will end up like the NBA muddied talent. There are so many bad NBA teams because the league is now full of guys that would never have made the NBA in past decades. It's to point of being unwatchable
