All those names suck except Totems, the PC crowd can't be mad that a Native American named city uses a Native American mascot. A name I also like that has been floated around is the Chinook.

Eh, could always change it to the Chief Sealth Totems. In a perfect world they could get T-Birds and Kent could rename their own team.

Thunderbirds would be ideal, but in fairness to the WHL team, they've been around for a long time, and you can't fault them for moving to Kent and bailing on the overpriced dump that is the current version of Key Arena like everyone else.

Heck no I don't blame them. I'm not even a real hockey fan but getting to a game sucked and its not a good arena to watch hockey. The Showare Center is night and day watching. Just as a novice spectator, when you think of hockey around the area you think of the T-Birds much like futbol fans thought of the Sounders when they thought about their sport.

My bigger question is how big is the ownership going to be? OVG cannot have any stake in the ownership group according the MOU. I want a team just really hope something bad happens at the Seattle Center and ends up in Sodo.
