If he's up for it they have to look at trading Crosby this offseason. You have to think they'd get a A/B+ level prospect and a couple of firsts from a team looking to win in the next two years.

Then even if the Pens don't win the lottery you get 5 1st round picks (at least in the next 3 years. After that Malkin, Karlsson and (potentially) Letang are all off the cap. As they're contract come closer to expiring you might even get something for those guys (probably with retention).

A fairly quick turnaround (4-6 years) could be done IMO.

My goodness I can't type/write this morning, but the gist of this makes sense.

Either that truly means.

1. Crosby is like

or

2. Crosby will be the player/head coach.

PIT GM Kyle Dubas said he called Sidney Crosby yesterday to give him a heads-up on the coaching change: “Five-minute conversation…I have to do what’s best for organization.”

Not to be the grammar police, but he spelled "I have to do what I can to blame someone else" wrong.

WOW!

Honestly didn't see this coming. They did not fire him more of him deciding to leave, seems similar to when HOF GMJR left.
Time for him to go...probably to the Kraken. They love everything ex-penguin

Wow they actually convinced him to come back.

Side note he was part of two of the worst deals in recent history for the Penguins.

1. The deal they gave up a boat load for Kapanen.
2. The dumping of Jared McCann

120 goals since he left Pittsburgh. They could really have used that anywhere in the lineup.

Anyway the point is that deal was awful on too many levels because the only reason it happened was to protect Jeff Carter from the expansion draft.

This was one nasty storm today, blew through and was gone within 10 minutes at my house.

The road behind my house is about 100 yards long and dead ends at the hillside above the creek. So there is only one way in and out.

There's a tree blocking the road about 30 yards from the beginning so I can't get out, but I have nowhere to go tomorrow since I'm working at home.

People around here are panicking like they're going to be trapped forever lol

Yeah, that rolled through here around 2:30/3:00. Was looking at my screen and just felt it get darker outside my window. Looked up in time to see the trees dancing like one of those inflatable wobbly men at car dealers. So much rain, I couldn't see the house across the street. 15 minutes later - sunny.

The amount of trees around here that are down is astronomical. Winds reached between 80–100 mph is what the national weather service reported.

I read about 400,000 without power, too.
This is only Duquesne light so 400,000 would seem about right.

IMG_6049.jpeg

My neighbor called to report the downed tree on the power line and she couldn't even get through to Duquesne Light, so she had to call 911 and they were getting hammered with calls and she couldn't reach them either

Another round going through here right now. Worse to the south, apparently. Be ready, I guess.
