The first thing the cop said when he got there was "why is your car covered in snow?"

I told him he doesn't understand you, he doesn't speak English. The cops response "awesome"

Young Hispanic kid, no license, driving his brothers car which had insurance.

I don't have much damage I got a big dent in my driver side rear door a big chunk taken out of my alloy rim and a little scratch on the rear quarter panel behind the wheel well. Nobody hurt.

I'm sure I'll have to pay my deductible and my insurance company will have to go after the brothers insurer but I don't know what they will do since the kid doesn't have a drivers license

Glad to hear that nobody was hurt. My daughter was involved in a fender bender last month (100% her fault), nobody hurt in that collision and I will be paying the deductible as well for repairs.

Glad she is ok. That sucks, it's so much of a hassle. I have to meet the insurance adjuster at the body shop Friday, which I have to take off work for and have the rental company meet me there with a rental.

Yeah, there wasn't much damage to my daughter's car (the front end/hood got pranged), so I expect that a new hood will be needed and some parts/clips as part of the assembly. She's still driving her 2018 Corolla while we await her trip to the repair shop which will be in early February.
