I don't know if the Oilers cheaped out on Markstrom or if he Marky decided he'd rather be a Flame. Either way, a lot of the Oilers problems would have been solved if he had signed with the Oil.

Saw some chatter about canucks trading halak today. 2 more games started and he gets a 1.25 mill bonus (added to next years cap - not sure if that cap hit is split % wise on how many games he plays for each team if traded)
