I didn't see much if any contact (looks like Gio pulled the knee in at the last minute to minimize contact). McDavid threw a hissy fit towards the zebras. Just because Elliotte said it happened doesn't make it so.

I just watched the Gio hit again, it was probably an interference penalty, but it was shin on shin. Oilers got a boatload on penalty calls in the 3rd period to make up for this missed call, McDavid is fine, everybody can stop clutching their pearls in Edmonton.

Did it have it's own broadcast or was it tacked onto the end of another? It didn't show in the guide for me. They kept talking about it during Leafs/Stars so I watched that to the end but they cut off before the Oilers game started.

It had its own broadcast. In our area (dont know if it is the same across the country), the Leafs-Stars was "Game 3" and the Battle of Alberta was "Game 2". So a different channel.
