It's interesting that on Saturday @jstewismybastardson posted that Brad May article that questioned how hurt Steve Moore was when Bertuzzi punched him from behind and then landed on top of him (along with other players) because it was starting to look a little Bertuzzi - Moore between Kassian and Tkachuk last night (especially when Kassian was raining down blows with Tkachuk already down on the ice.

Edmonton media has some of the worst fanboys in the league.

Leon doesn’t want to be on the ice with Tkachuk at the all-star game now.

LOL

Drai should decline to go and they can send Kassian instead :thumb: drai forced to sit a game and tkachuk gets to make nice with Kassian. Just make sure Cro Magnon Kassian knows the 3 canucks are off limits. I WOULD WATCH THAT!

2 games for the Kassassin

From the DOPS video...

At no point did Tkachuk have the opportunity to square up, drop his gloves or do anything other than attempt to protect himself from the punches being thrown

I guess trying to protect yourself from an enraged caveman who jumps you from behind, grabs you by the horse collar and throws you down to the ice is turtling :noidea:

He's on a roll...

Can't hurt brain if no have brain :thumb:

btw, if Tkachuk continues to run guys he will have to answer the bell at some point
He's right not to fight Kass right now though. He is living rent-free in Kassian's head (and most of Edm).

I'm thinking the NHL gave Kassian two games because they want it settled in the next game and I agree, just get it over with early. Matt should take a page out of Stortini's book and just go all Huggy Bear with Kassian

On a more serious note, I'd hate to see any player (Oiler or Flame) seriously injured as a result of emotions boiling over. I honestly think the best thing to happen would be for Tkachuk and Kassian to engage in a half-hearted scrap where a few punches are thrown and hopefully that's the end of it.
