Ducks' Deal for Comrie Hinges on Money

So, apparently once upon a time Bryan Murray had a deal in place to send Corey Perry and a first round pick (Ducks used that on Bobby Ryan) to Edmonton for Mike Comrie. Kevin Lowe wanted Comrie to reimburse the Oil 2.5m of bonus already paid to be traded. Comrie declined.

The trade eventually became Comrie to Philly for Jeff Woywitka, a first (Rob Schremp) and a third (Danny Swyret).

There's boneheaded and there's criminally inept.
