He's sort of not wrong but he fails to mention that the depth that they need is like 2nd line forwards and #3 defensemen. Not easy to just "grind" and acquire those guys.

Very true. Yet another omission.

They're not in good shape. Like at all. But their core players are pretty good ones. I don't really see Nurse or Kelfbom as the #1 D on a contending team either. Maybe Bouchard becomes that guy but I have my doubts about his foot speed at the NHL level.

Not quite. Bouchard can attain motion. Plus he doesn't handle the puck like it was a live grenade wrapped in an STD-ridden member. On top of that he has more than 2 brain cells capable of making on-ice decisions.

Bouchard will probably be decent, but I'm not sure he won't get burned by speedy NHL forwards.

Just as an aside remember when there was a poster here who was 100% certain that G. Reinhart was GOING TO BE A STUD.

That dude was a stud against the Ducks in game 6 in Edmonton two years ago. An assist and five hits in the most significant Oilers win (on the ice) in over a decade.
