So do they waive Pully or does someone still give something up for him?
Funny how this keeps happening to Edmonton prospects.
If Lucic (4 pts), Strome (0 pts) and Pul (1 pt) is actually a line I think they may all need to sit out for a few. Ouch.
Maybe in the past but not so much so far this season - he's only played 31 of 195 5v5 minutes with McD, there's only been 3 goals scored by the Oilers in those 31 minutes and only on one of those did the two combine for a goal (in the first game of the season).Draisaitl's points are quite misleading as well, take him off McDavid's line and the power play and he produces very little.
Taking away Drai's 6 power play points and that goal, Drai's had 8 non-McD 5v5 points in 14 games. Seems pretty alright to me, moreso when factoring in that he's spending most of his 5v5 time with Tobias Rieder (career high 37 pts) and Alex Chiasson (35 pts).
$6 mills gets you a dufus chasing around a rookieI don't know, for 8.5 million per season, I'd expect more impact and production.

5-2 game.Oilers radio personality and over the top homer:
Tied for 1st on the Ducks.Former Oiler Pontus Aberg (waived by Edmonton) just scored his 5th goal of the season for Anaheim. Five goals would place him tied for 4th as far as goal scoring on the Oilers is concerned.
