Not sure if the outdoor game had anything to do with it but the Jackets have looked like a team running on fumes for the last couple of weeks.

Has all the earmarks of a young team that improved faster than most (including themselves probably) expected, then just ran out of gas down the stretch.

Doubtful that happens again. The Jackets have a really nice future, IMO.

Yup, plenty of young talented players to build around. Fantilli, Johnson, Marchenko up front and a Norris candidate in Werenski on the backend. If Cayden Lindstrom pans out, he'll be a great add in a year or two.
