I am probably going to Mattola myself as I feel like I have told this before here, but this reminds me of a time I Was working for a corporate online sportsbook company and they had MASS layoffs one day.


they came in to the office and called us all one at a time off a list into our board room. The Board of Directors were there. They started speaking, I was close to the door when a hand came through the door grabbed my shoulder and pulled me out. As I closed the door I head EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM NO LONGER WORKS HERE (there was 75 people there). I said to my HR manager am I supposed to be in there he said "no that I was a mistake to be in there and there are 6 other people in there you need to pull out that are not fired. Here is the list, go get them". I went in and EVERYONE was losing it on the BOD as they inadvertently cornered themselves from the exit and couldn’t get away from the questions and people telling them off. As people were crying and consoling each other I had to pull 6 people away to tell them they were in fact not fired . it was one the most heartless things I have seen a BOD do…. Until today. This seems worse

once the BOD got through the people they locked themselves in the CEO's office (who was let go the night before) They didnt even tell anyone to leave, or restrict their access to servers or emails. They had no clue what they were doing.

i was listening to H&B this morning just before that happened then went into work I didnt hear the cut off. I feel terrible for all of them.

Yah i was driving too and heard right at 9 after halford said back after the break with this guest i forget who ... and then the voice over guy says “stay tuned at 9:30 for an important announcement about the future of tsn1040 ... they then went into espn radio immediately and i didnt know what was going on ...looked at my car dash and was wondering whether i changed the station somehow

/i wonder if they kept going with their show thinking they were still on air ??? Im gonna get the goods on that lol
