Seriously in that sequence before the cross check to the head. It should have been called incidental minors but knowing it is McDavid he would never been called for a penalty. Hence why Oiler fans are upset that their team wasn’t given an unfair advantage.

Trust me I should know being a Penguin fan seeing the calls go Crosby’s way in the past. :D Granted that doesn’t happen much anymore.
McDavid got away with 2 others last night. The almost spear/high stick to Hroneks throat at the end of the 2nd.

And this trip in the 3rd. His stick makes Hughes lose his edge and damn near created a coiler scoring chance. Canucks have been called for trips like this 5 times this season.

Oh yeah he gets away with way too much and then he wonders why he gets cross checked in the face. Sadly he deserves it but if the league actually cared about all players vs a select few then this probably would never happen.

But this is all rambling on from me, that we all already know.

If Garland wasn't so short McJesus would have cross checked him normally in the shoulders and it wouldn't have been a match penalty. Myers is the opposite, his screams intent to injure.

To even things up, Myers should have to serve McDavid's suspension.

/and the Canucks should lose a third rounder as well

And be forced to lose the next Crosby level lottery pick to the Penguins.

Phone hearings for both, so it will be 2 games each so they miss the Thurs rematch.

Or 4 games for Myers, and $5,000 fine to mcjebus so he doesn't miss the OV matchup. And the league will make Garland pay the fine and write a handwritten apology card.

It was pretty funny that Bouchard took his mouthguard out to say something to Myers and then proceeded to eat Myers' stick.

/No, no, that was wrong, Tyler shouldn't have done that :D

from the weekend, Larry Brooks was reporting Laff &/or Braden Schneider were in some sort of package for JT Miller

Drancer/Dhali saying the package was Chytil/Ryan Lindgren/one of the Hartford prospects that was scratched Saturday plus a first rounder

Lindgren would likely be the worst defenseman on the Canucks if he were to come to Vancity lol

Elliotte on Donnie & Dhali right now just said that he thinks the Canucks are still working on a JT Miller trade with the Rangers.

I guess I think Juulsen is not that bad (not a ringing endorsement I know). I agree with you about Desharnais though, he stinks :D
