yah some had it that Nemec requested a trade but he didnt and I doubt the devils do anything here with him

I think it's a case of addition by subtraction, even if you "lose the trade" fixing that room is priority 1.

They will no doubt lose this trade but looks like this situation is irreparable and they have to move on.

Friedman just said that JT was going to be held out of tonight's game versus the Oilers as a trade appeared to be very close, but talks broke down and JT is currently still in the lineup for the Canucks tonight.
