28 players waived yesterday ... of those PDG probably stands out ... will see what san jose or hawks do.

Boston claimed Patera though ... a hit to the goalie depth but he looked kinda meh in preseason

It is just pre-season still, but he's looked pretty good thus far...

Spencer Martin and Cal Peterson on waivers today but a claim could just be futile because if/when THEY put the new goalie on waivers to send them down to the A, the original team that put them on waivers can re-claim them

so maybe they just wait for Boston to (eventually) put Patera on waivers
