just stop paying bottom six players multi millions of dollars. and stop trading youth for grizzled character players (Gubberson).

i think we were for the most part on board for a rebuild when Sedins retired.
kind of hanging on to faint playoff homes in their final couple of years so they didn't have to go through the rebuild.
which is why signing louie for 6 years was so goddamned infuriating.

we have been accidentally shitty enough in that time to restock the prospect pipeline anyway.
