I think its obvious at this point they are not happy with Boesers fitness level. Yes his dad died last May ... he still managed to play in "da beauty league" last summer ... and sure maybe being around friends on the ice was cathartic for him ... but focusing on getting stronger in the gym might have put him in a good mental space as well
