I remember him ranked mid-first round leading up to the draft, at some points ahead of guys like Ceulemans, Zellweger and Stankoven. Considering how weak we are at Center, I hoped we'd get him around where we got Sillinger. He was even higher in early rankings.

Not sure what caused him to drop but there is something there.
