Well, one thing you can say about the Canucks, they are certainly not boring...

Credit to Canucks management, that’s the kind of return they said they were after.

Credit to their haters, it’s about as average a return as you could’ve imagined.

But if nobody was offering an unprotected first and a better prospect it’s not a bad deal.

I’m assuming that pick has lottery protection.

Just a big meh all around.

Mike Keenan (rose to fame with the Flyers), became Canucks coach and shortly thereafter traded away the Canucks captain.

Rick Tocchet (rose to fame with the Flyers), became Canucks coach and shortly thereafter traded away the Canucks captain.

boy, that's some bidding war /eyeroll

Beauvillier is a 15 goal scorer being paid $4mill. UFA after next year. but hey, he's only 25 compared to old man Bo (27)
don't know much about Raty as it's his first year in North America - was a 2nd round pick
1st is nice, I guess (if it's this year, given the protection)

I am underwhelmed on the surface.

Biggest what if now is what team Bo plays for at the all star game.

Will say this much for Beauvillier, he’s probably capable of a bit more than he was doing on LI. Not exactly the most offensive program there.

If he can unlock something more there quickly at his age, that’s a bit of a question innit.
