I think what they did was deleted it and posted a new tweet with the replies turned off

And it looks like theyre gonna hold their pre game presser (although its already been pushed back) and make travis green have to face/answer questions about it lmao ... leadership incompetence at its finest by jimbo and frankie .. fuckin cowards

I can understand why no Benning, that fucking guy is too dumb to tackle this serious a case. FS should be front and center here. What a joke of an organization this has turned into

Oh well... Not like he would have been the next Chara .I am curious to know what the Canucks offered
He'll be the next Chara when he comes back as a UFA for another team.

Remember when the Canucks were too cheap to pay a transfer fee to retain Igor larionov ($275m, if memory serves), and he went on to play 10 more seasons and get 500 more points? Good times.

Not sure what the infatuation was here for Jimbo ... oh wait ... hes tall !

By all accounts his game hasnt improved the past few years in the khl. Maybe they wanted a russian babysitter for podz. Someone to keep him away from the clouds of marijuana smoke

And multiple championships... It's like our ownership stupidity is passed on through each other. We have wasted The ELCs pretty well here and now will have to roll the dice on future support pieces to build a team to contend... Not for a cup but just to barely make the playoffs.. this ownership has put probably the dumbest Gm in the league in charge and it seems he will be here until at least his contract ends. Green looks just done with this as well. Glad I don't pay for these games anymore

Is this one you save for next year .. lol one thing is for sure is that all these great teams this year won't be as good next year when they play the other 31 teams (Seattle starts next year right?) The balanced schedule will be more a challenge for everyone. No way leafs, canes, Panthers, are top of league when you can't play the same teams 10 times each.. no we won't be as bad as this season , but sure as won't be kicking everyone's ass that's for sure

#thankyoutravis :noidea:

Dont really buy that :noidea: . Gaudette is still a third liner on the hawks and also not playing his natural centre position ... both things were happening with green as his coach

Difference is with the hawks hes on a third line with strome and kubalik not that bottom six patchwork of chicken shit trash that jimbo has collected for travis to try and make chicken salad out of :noidea:

Can u even compare that ? fox didnt want to go to calgary and lindholm/hanifin are still flames regulars/contributors.

Theres a difference between losing a trade and losing a trade where your return was a guy who now probably pumps gas for a living (glendenning) :noidea: too soon to throw Highmore under the bus but he has the potential to become a bus driver

lol - Agreed that the two aren't comparable, it's more an indictment that the GMs for both clubs have accomplished very little after several years at the job.

Wouldn’t that make the worse teams likely to fare even...worse?

I think it all kinda evens out. The Leafs are top of the division and they’re fifth in the league in pts % due to poor quality competition according to basically everybody (I’d strongly disagree with that but...) and would have it tougher in regular competition but if it stays that way that would be exactly where they finished in 2018-19. The only difference that year was that the first and third best teams were in the same division and they had to play the Bruins in the first round because of the stupid playoff format.

Edmonton was 3 points out of first in the Pacific with ten games left last season. We can go on about why that was but given that they’ve continued on a similar trajectory it’s hard to say they’d be much worse off in the regular schedule format. AT MOST, you can argue that whoever finishes 4th in this division probably would be a bottom feeder in regular times and I’d agree with that.

Then the other teams you mention, Canes and Panthers, one has been on the upward trajectory for a few years now and Florida got some great defence from Ekblad and Weegar to go with a pretty solid goalie duo in Bob and Driedger to make waves. Would it be tougher for them playing Toronto and Boston every few days in addition to Carolina & TB? Probably but add in Montreal, Ottawa & Buffalo and its suddenly a bit more even no?
