I still don't get why they can't just add a couple of weeks to the season. Nobody's going to cry if they do. Space it out. This is all so fucking NHL and it's yet another reason why it's the shittiest of the leagues here.

I read that they want the NHL to be done before the Summer Olympics start since the cup finals are on NBC.
