This is not new news though lol. They called Tanev dad and elias would go to talk to markie when he was frustrated. Petey pushed for management to sign Toffoli because of how well he fit into the group. And toffoli didnt want to leave here !!! And i think the boys were still in disbelief that stecher was let go too judging by how much time they spent eith him after he signed with the wings

I saw it thrown out there on twitter yesterday about miller. He battled with his teammates and the covid cup seemed like a good positive building piece.

then he watches his former lightning teammates lift the cup

then he watches his gm let guys walk and those guys are confused by the lack of communication from the team and then the team doesn’t end up replacing most of those parts

then he decides to come up to vancouver and leave his young family behind in the states for the season, stays with jordie benn and benn exposes him to covid so he misses end of camp and start of the regular season ... its all going so well lol

ferraro was on the other day and said how all players are team gms in their own mind ... and they know they are a lesser team now. they have to find a way to get over it. Maybe right now playing to get benning fired is the way for some of them lol

seriously if i were greener id go into the room and just lay the wood to benning ... tackle the elephant in the room that everyone is thinking but nobody is mentioning ... reinforce to the players that that giant doof benning isnt gonna help them ... they gotta get out of the shellshock fog with their own hard work
