I was wondering if the Caps might be interested in Burr but I dont know if he would be an upgrade for them in any manner ... Has Brett Connolly found a home with that organization?
Honest question - Do you guys see Burrows in the Canucks ring of hono(u)r one day?

He is revered in this market BBB, I think Tony Gallagher would like to adopt him.
???
He would? If it were up to Tony, Burr would have never gotten a sniff with the Sedins ... Same with Hansen
Look, if he was a captain at some point or something, alright. He has less than 400 pts in 800+ games if he gets traded this month. He is revered in this market BBB, I think Tony Gallagher would like to adopt him.

Just looking at the ring so far, it seems they're taking their time getting some obvious names on it. In 10-15 years if he's getting consideration is he going to be remembered among the likes of Smyl, Bure, Morrison, Naslund, Linden, Sedins etc. who are likely to be put up there in the meantime? Revered or not, he doesn't hold the wax from those guys' candles.
Maybe Tony has softened over the years, just last week on the radio I heard him say that he loves Burrows.
Ah, didn't know they did both things.Sedins are going to have their numbers retired here ...we're talking ring of honour
Kesler wins a Selke and is nominated another two times, outscored Burrows every full season they played together bar one, but he's the "certainly not"?I honestly dont see anyone else on the horizon from the past 10 years who isnt in the ROH that would probably trump Burrows in terms of belonging there ... Luongo maybe .... Bieksa ????? ... certainly not Kesler

Won't speak on the poonerman but the other stuff is totally irrelevant. Canucks management from 2013-2015 was, politely, bad. He could've handled himself better but you're really going to hold against him the fact he wanted out from that tire fire?the way he left town???? banging teammates wives (this post brought to you by poonerman) and asking for a trade and in the end only putting 2 teams on his list????

You're right. Bure isn't worthy of a retired number and Kesler will be forgotten forever.i think the BOLD is applicable when it comes to you talking canucks lol
