so my 2 posts above ... why on earth are the canucks exploring an arena like Rosemary Brown as a potential practice facility ... yes its new and architecturally beautiful and yes they can probably get the City of Burnaby to add luxury dressing rooms since the arena has such a huge footprint and there is so much open (wasted) space BUT ... the drive ??? ... maybe its just a photo op to make it look like they are doing work on this

You have 8 rinks closer to Rogers and where the players live and right off the freeway. NHL'ers galore skate there already... Work with Canlan to upgrade rink 1. Easy reason this probably hasnt happened yet is because Aquilini doesnt want to put ANY money in this at all lol

Thankfully, most here in Columbus love and appreciate both Bob and Seth for what they did here, but no one is lamenting not paying those contracts.

meh ... glad Podz seems to be figuring it out ... unfortunate that its with the Coilers ... but iirc he was going to be waiver eligible come the start of last season and the risk was losing him for nothing if he didnt make the team out of camp ... at least they got a draft pick out of it for a change
