heard this morning on the radio that New Jersey probably wont pursue any "charges" of tampering ... because they want to maintain a good relationship with the Canucks when it comes time to trade for Quinn

McKenna is not a centre, but I think he could certainly play the centre position, I don't think that would be an issue.

Tocchet decision should come by Friday. On Halbro this morning Frank the tank said Tocchets current contract runs to June 30. The Canucks wouldnt let him twist in the wind here if he says to them he wants to go elsewhere, would they ???

I somehow get the feeling he doesnt want to coach the 11.6 shmill guy anymore

I think he pretty much sees what we all see

about 3 guys away from contending for the playoffs. a 4th actually being one 11.6 guy who is totally unknown to how he will come back after the off season when even his agent says it has to be better and a broken #1 goalie. I also heard on Halbro that Tocchet said (or alluded to) that EP40 was difficult to coach? or get a message into?


If we dont trade him and he comes back in worse shape can we void the contract?

The Devils played well without either of their Hughes boys. So maybe the trade will go the Canucks way.
