Trash team, phenomenal quarterback that is finally healthy. The colts are like a poor mans Packers. It’s just sad to watch greatness wasted on horrible management and ownership.

It's not 2014 anymore.

The team has improved around Luck significantly.

I'll wait to see what happens this time next year before I can say anything much about the Colts. They started 1-6 or something, and the only thing I know is that Luck has returned to seemingly full health.

7.1 YPA~ for the year. Nothing special on D. There is reason to be skeptical they do much in January, but they have a good shot of getting in after today. Next year is when they take the jump, imo.

Good for the Bears today. This and the Skins win officially knocks out the Packers right?
The Packers are out thanks to a poor performance by Aaron Rodgers. That big guaranteed contract must have killed his competitive drive. The Bears will be tough to beat in the playoffs.

They're a notch above average on each side of the ball, but no more than that. They are exactly what they are in the standings- a fringe playoff team.

Better than how it used to be a few years ago. Remember how bad the line and defense used to be

Which goes to show you offense is more consistent than defense; because those teams are probably better than this one. Get Luck another weapon and I'll be more enthusiastic.

Meh...I think you're hung up on his Y/A too much, but whatever. He's the biggest reason, by far, that the Colts have the record they do

So is any QB on their team in 2018. Even the Bears would blow if they started Chase Daniel every game.

So this win was surprising. However, while the titans defense shut down the giants, the colts are not that defense. Giants have ben red hot outside that game, and NYG has more weapons than Dallas. Also factor in Barkley having a bad game and bound to bounce back, that with a healthy ODB? Look out. The giants have gotten it together and they missed ODB today. So the colts are not given 10-6 yet. But the good news for the colts is Miami lost, and if Pittsburgh loses these next two games, the colts will battle the titans for the last spot.

Actually, I'm not surprised by the Colts beating Dallas today. Maybe a little surprised by the shut out but Dallas was due for a dud. Aside from the Jags game, the Colts have been playing decent ball the last 2 months. Don't know if they will get into the dance but they are young and have a good looking future if Luck is healthy.

The biggest change with the Colts is the coaching and the o-line play. Some good draft picks on the line have made a big difference. Frank Reich is also a good offensive coach who has kept Luck out of harm's way with crisp short and intermediate passing, and a strong emphasis on the run. We miss Reich tremendously in Philly right now.

Near the end of the game they also noted that, if you subtract Adam Vinatieri, the Colts would be the youngest team in football. They have a lot of younger players, and some good talent on both sides of the ball to build with. It has changed quite a bit in the past few seasons. The first three picks of the 2018 draft--OG Quenton Nelson, LB Darius Leonard and RT Braden Smith--look epic for them right now.
