The problem with the MLS is when you watch it compared to the other options available in the US (EPL, recent World Cup) it's obvious, even to the uninitiated, that it is inferior.
For me, EPL and NHL are just behind MLB as my favorite sports to watch. The NFL is turning me off lately. I have also heard rumors that a professional basketball league exists, but haven't seen proof of that yet.
