Just make the playoffs? Probably.
World Series? Not a chance.

Playoff rotation of Harrison, Darvish and who else???? Just lost the most dominating pitcher the Rangers have had in the postseason the past 2 years...

yeah because the pitching staff is so much worse than last year.........cj sure carried us in the play-offs and who knows what will happen this year..lee didnt help to much against the giants

the texas rangers will be a contender for awhile. no need to give up the farm and the 20 mil a year to lee in my opinion....much rather wait on the young arms to get a chance to prove themselves

I have confidence in this team to make the post season this year.Would feel alot better about their chances to get to the WS again with an ace in free agency.Don't want to chance relying on rookie pitchers(Perez) to take us to the promised land.
The Tigers just improved themselves tremendously .JD needs to make a similar move soon or we could be left out and teams like Detroit will become favs to win the WS

JD and company want to win now and in the future. And no, CJ wasn't paramount to their WS run last year, but Colby was. We are now down 2 starters from last year including out playoff ace. Yeah, we need to do something.

Considering Colby was the most dominant of the starters in the postseason...............BOTH years............................and now he's lost for the season.

Apparently (and this is quite laughable), the Rangers should feel confident to win the WS with the rotation they have now.

Got get'em inconsistent starters! (Holland, Feliz, Oswalt)
