Savannah is awesome. Charleston SC is great too. Both beautiful cities with some history and good food.

I'd like to do the Savannah-Charleston combo someday, I just don't know wtf I'd do after that and I doubt I'll ever get an excuse to do a day or two there as a detour from something work-related.

I used to go all the time. That's when I got to see Savannah several times. Some nice courses out there.

So, there are some in the world of VW that feel like the EPA and the California Air Resource Board were witch hunting to find a car manufacturer to foot the bill for electic car charging infrastructure in California, and when VW told them nein that is when the cheating thing came out. And not to excuse the cheating, but it's since been discovered by independent testing that pretty much every car company that makes a passenger car diesel is also cheating the test in some way, you have to think that if the only way to pass the test is to cheat that the test is the problem.

The question was asked about the standards for tractor trailers, of which there are 30x more than diesel cars, have fewer controls, and use considerably more fuel. If Diesel fumes are killing the air, it's certainly not solely because of a few Golfs and Jettas.

So now, VW buys into a tractor trailer maker in the US. Practically daring the EPA and CARB to look into trucks.

Love 'em or hate 'em. Them guys have balls.
