comeds, you have a good heart which these days is hard to find
so please be gentle with this heart of mine.
Thats weird, I did not recognize that one so I looked it up. I am not sure I ever heard it before.

I have never heard it either, and I'm usually up on 80s one-hit wonders.

It looks like it was a pretty big hit a lot of other places but no so much in the US.

1985 "A Good Heart" UK No. 1 (2 weeks), Australia No. 1 (2 weeks),[14] Austria No. 13, Canada No. 4, The Netherlands No. 1, Norway No. 6, South Africa No. 3,[16] Switzerland No. 3, US #74

I doubt the top 40ish station I listened to in 85 played anything that low. Don't remember it from MTV or anything either though.

I recall recording that song off the radio on to cassette in what i thought was the privacy of my bedroom ... my mom walked in and told me it was dinner time and ruined the production quality :mad2:

The Friday before a holiday can be really slow and boring. Luckily I see an article on "7 Ways to Tie A Scarf" on MSN. Should be good reading.

My mother learned and 'sang' along with the woman in General Public's Tenderness. My testiles retreated into my abdomen where they stayed for two years.

/Woman moaning in regular version and lots in extended version (there was a clean version too)
//Being a young teen pre internet I enjoyed that part of the song

Next time anyone b*tches about their walk to school back in their days just show them this.

Chinese kids descend terrifying cliff face to school - CNN.com
They need to get good grades so they can one day go to work in the iPhone factory and then commit suicide in the iPhone factory.

Wait.... That's too dark to kick off a holiday weekend.
How about:
50 years from now - When I was you age I had to climb UP a treacherous cliff on a vine ladder both to and from school

Always assumed The Hip would be on a stage at the end of a Cup parade in Toronto playing this. Just means the Leafs now need to get it done way sooner:

The Thrill of Victory | By Alexander Rossi

He was in F1 last year, some rich kid paid to play and this guy lost his seat. He came to Indy Car, had only driven on an oval once before Sunday (Phoenix three weeks ago) and all he did was go out and win the biggest race of the century, running out of fuel as he crossed the line.

I was there in person to see it. It was something truly epic. All the more special when you consider how much of a down to earth guy Alex seems to be.
