A work colleague of mine collapsed and died at home this past Sunday, this guy exercised, didn't smoke, didn't drink, and appeared to be the epitome of good health. On top of all that, he was the nicest guy you could ever imagine meeting. This is also a person who was only one year older than me. You just never know when your number might be up, so live each day to the fullest and take care.

No, but he certainly shared a lot of the same qualities as Jim Fixx. Still seems unreal that I won't ever see him in the office again, he'll be a tough guy to replace (smart guy and very hard worker).

Depending on the specifics of the plea and the case, there can be benefits, namely not having to drag the poor victims into court to relive everything in public.

True, but I believe he is just being charged with possession, not production. Possession cases typically don't drag the subjects of the content to court.
