<pats head> you weren't there dude. :D

If you lived through it, young one, you would realize that you are very wrong.
You were INUNDATED by it.
You could be the biggest Sex Pistols fan on the planet in 1977, and everywhere you turned was disco.
Not like you could tune it out. It surrounded you like a scratchy wool blanket.

Basically, the entire decade was itchy.

You may be right, but I don't really fall into any of the trendy shit in todays age, I listen to alot of obscure shit... So imagine I would do the same in the 70's. I love 70's prog rock. It's primarily what I listen to.

Not sure why Selling England by the Pound by GENESIS' album cover didn't show up, oh well.

genesis was awesome
even though I didn't "discover" them until the 80's

then they were everywhere in the mid 80's

Every high school on the planet had a prom between 1985-1987 that had a Genesis song as the theme song.
Every. One.
Ok, MAYBE not PS 136 in the Bronx, but still, that is also possible.

Not my proms. I went to prom in 86 when I was a sophomore, and I went to senior prom in 87 when I was a junior and not once was a Genesis song the theme.

Ironically, I didn't go to Senior Prom when I was a senior in 88, heh.

I am both disgusted and intrigued. It sounds like a bad combination to me at the same time sounding interesting. Make it yourself or get it someplace? Cheese, or does the peanut butter take the place of the cheese?

had it at a Korean run diner.
The burger had peanut butter, bacon, a bacon aoli, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and I took the onions off.

it tasted kind of like a Indonesian satay. really freakin' good.
and really messy, because the peanut butter melted of course.

Well now I am leaning more toward it sounding good. I'd still be scared of it a little, its an odd combination to me, but it sounds like it could be tasty.

One of the best things I ever saw on PBS was a show called "Sandwiches You Will Like" (clever name huh?) and it was basically about regional sandwiches around the US and how they differ. Some place in Tennessee (I think) had a goober burger which was a burger with peanut butter. It looked good. The one you had sounds better.
