<pats head> you weren't there dude.
If you lived through it, young one, you would realize that you are very wrong.
You were INUNDATED by it.
You could be the biggest Sex Pistols fan on the planet in 1977, and everywhere you turned was disco.
Not like you could tune it out. It surrounded you like a scratchy wool blanket.
Basically, the entire decade was itchy.
Not sure why Selling England by the Pound by GENESIS' album cover didn't show up, oh well.
genesis was awesome
even though I didn't "discover" them until the 80's
then they were everywhere in the mid 80's
Every high school on the planet had a prom between 1985-1987 that had a Genesis song as the theme song.
Every. One.
Ok, MAYBE not PS 136 in the Bronx, but still, that is also possible.
yes, I did just have a peanut butter and bacon burger.
and yes, it was freakin' terrific.
you may be jealous now.
I am both disgusted and intrigued. It sounds like a bad combination to me at the same time sounding interesting. Make it yourself or get it someplace? Cheese, or does the peanut butter take the place of the cheese?

Essentially, its thai food lol
/ wasnt there a "famous" relish or pickle or condiment thread? I think i disgusted people by saying i enjoyed peanut butter on hot dogs
next level, topping with Mac+Cheese?
had it at a Korean run diner.
The burger had peanut butter, bacon, a bacon aoli, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and I took the onions off.
it tasted kind of like a Indonesian satay. really freakin' good.
and really messy, because the peanut butter melted of course.

Not my proms. I went to prom in 86 when I was a sophomore, and I went to senior prom in 87 when I was a junior and not once was a Genesis song the theme.
Ironically, I didn't go to Senior Prom when I was a senior in 88, heh.
