When I walked up to the display and looked at the screen without the glasses on, I realized how much of a hassle it would be to have to wear the stupid glasses and what problems there could be from switching resolutions back and forth, so...I'll wait to see what direction this fad heads before spending my loot.

I read this week that both Toshiba and Sony are working on 3D tv's that won't require the funky glasses. Not sure when they think this technology will be ready though.

I'd be anxious to see that. The ones I seen today looked just any other 3d show you see anywhere. All distorted and weird.

Here I'm thinking about a dvd from LAST year and you're already counting chickens for THIS year! (Obviously I didn't read your post thoroughly....D'oh!)

Besides, I'll see every game the Flyers play this year, no need to have a dvd replaying their rise to champions when I'll see it "as it happens", step by step throughout the course of the season.
