hopefully they seize it for court costs instead of giving it back to the idiots that funded him

Or in the form of a tax credit to all the folks who didn't vote for him.

This is one of the times I enjoyed reading the comments. Get fucked Frankie.

Summary of this thing. So the Republicans, realizing that they made a huge mistake by finally stuffing the Supreme Court and getting Roe thrown out have pissed off not only every Democrat voter in Ohio, everyone in Gen X, Millenial and Gen Z AND almost every Republican female to the tune of DOUBLE the signatures needed to get an initiative on the ballot this coming November to enshrine reproductive rights into the Ohio Constitution decided to break their own law against single off cycle elections (that they passed with an off cycle election) and try to make it so any Constitutional Amendment required 60% of the vote. Interesting number because their polling showed Ohio voters were 57-59% in favor of enshrining reproductive rights into the constitution. In order to help accomplish this, they got a lot of money from an Indiana Billionaire, the NRA, some Northern Virginia Karens and took 25 mil from the State Budget. And ran on the notion of keeping special interest money out of our state's constitution.

They key things they tried to accomplish:
- 60% of the vote required to pass a constitutional amendment (Currently simple majority)
- 5% of all voters in all 88 Ohio Counties required to sign petition to even get an initiative on the ballot - One county can block any initiative (Current 5% of voters in 44 of the 88)
- Eliminate the "curing" period to validate any petition signatures, meaning one county can arbitrarily throw out the proper number of signatures to get below 5% and there will be no chance to rectify it. (Current 2 week period to rectify)
- Make it so only elected reps could propose amendments. Individuals who could be bribed, most of whom were elected via illegally gerrymandered maps.

And Ohio kicked them in the teeth. This Frank Larose, the secretary of state, was the spearhead of it. And in November, he is running for US Senate against Sherrod Brown, having just pissed away 25 million in taxpayer money, pissed off ~60% of the state, failed to kill the Abortions Rights amendment on the same ballot (as well as the recreational Marijuana one), AND has just alerted all Ohioans to the fact that they all have a right to propose constitutional amendments and how exactly to get them on the ballot.

Some things that are now in the target of community organizers:
- Police action citizen review boards in every county
- Fix the fucking maps once and for all
- Tax any church that takes a stance on ANY political topic
- Universal school lunches
- Punting permitless carry and requiring background checks and registration of guns.

Plus there's that whole "broke his own law to try and trick Ohio Voters" thing.

What a maroon.
