^ I faced palmed that because it essentially gave the Fox News people an out for never having to admit this under oath during questioning.

Are you really surprised though? I don't think Hannity, Tucker, or Ingraham would have even taken the stand and even if they did, they wouldn't admit to much wrongdoing. Just one more example of the rich/privileged not having to show any accountability.

I was hoping for a billion, but that's in the ballpark.

Bloomberg has Rupert's net worth pegged at about $8.2 billion, so at least this will sting.
y/y change about $500M, so it wipes that out at least.

not near enough to change behavior, though.

Oh I know and even the judge said prior that no cameras would be allowed in the courtroom. So it wasn't going to be good anyway.

Did they ask for a on air statement from fox? To fire tucker? Etc..

Small fine for them
Each one of those fox prime time show hosts should at the very least be forced to read this actual news story ... reading actual news would be new for them lol

Would media liability insurance end up having to cover a chunk?

Theres also the Smartmatic lawsuit to come

and I guess settling today and not admitting they lied was a move to ensure they werent going to be paying Smartmatic 2.7 billion TODAY as well lol

I was hoping for a billion, but that's in the ballpark.

I was kind of hoping that every single person that they have been lees than 100% truthful about, including people whose names they spelled wrong, would be able to line up after this and drain them. Still hoping that.

Sucks that they don't have to remove "News" from their name and run a scroller saying it's entertainment, not news.
