I am still trying to figure out his followers. I get that a healthy number of them lack intelligence or critical thinking but you have to think a great deal of them are actually smart enough to know what he is. Are they just filled with hate so much that they do not care and want this.

It really is a dark time for america and shows how corrupt things really are.

I think there's a fair number of them that just vote for the guy with the (R) beside his name. The GOP has done a pretty good job of equating Democrats with radical socialists/communists/globalists that hate America. Then there's that segment of people that want abortion abolished along with people that think Democrats are going to take away all their guns. Also we have to remember that the GOP are good at getting out the message that Democrats are all about raising taxes and big government.

beyond the cult of cheeto, it can be single issue voters. No matter what a sleazebag he is, if one of these hits, they can overlook the rest of it
and there is a bunch of overlap in the first four anyway. "the bible says mah guns r sacred!"
