Today has been super entertaining. Since the Freedumb Caucus nominated a black guy, the republicans got the OTHER black guy they have to nominate McCarthy. Who then went on to make a bunch of dumb references to sports. He basically said his family went from slaves to conservatives in 5 generations. He mentioned how when he first met McCarthy, McCarthy said that it wasn't fair how the Democrats' side looke more like America does than their own. And then mentioned that they need to do something about the opiods crisis. There were visible cringes in the background. He also claimed that having the votes to adjourn last night was a win to which Aguilar said when nominating Jeffries again that they don't consider walking away from your responsibilities a win.

Then some jackass from NC stood up, nominated Donalds again. He said, very passionately that they were there to get things done and like 4 people clapped. Then he said they had a chance to elect the first black speaker of the house, at which point all the Democrats stood up and started chanting "Hakeem". You could see him dying inside.

We're not even a half hour into this.
