Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy bacon
So it appears a bunch of reporters have had their accounts suspended on Twitter. I guess Elon isn't all about free speech after all.

It is well done. He is doing a terrific job silencing the good on Twitter and letting his hate and the GOP hate take over. I would say he is doing it perfectly while trying to promote himself and his businesses (not so perfectly). the downfall of twitter is not a downfall to his puppet masters and his $44B loss on buying it will be made up elsewhere. Going back to my gaming days I almost wish that we didnt fight so hard to protect the internet privacy but am still glad that we did. Its still a open sore of a world but the internet has great things, I mean you all met me right but unfortunately people like Elon will thrive with it.So reporters who provide quality information are banned from Twitter yet Kyle Rittenhouse is still allowed to spew nonsense on that platform. Well done Elon.
He has every right to do this, and if this blows up in his face so be it (good, even). This reaction is hilarious though.
I don't think anyone is questioning his right to do it, but you don't get to be the champion of free speech, silence only the voices critical of you, and then have any kind of credibility. I just wish he would stop subjecting all of us to his midlife crisis - cheat on spouse or buy a roadster like the rest of society, you asshole.
Not exactly apples to apples though, one was pushing a stupid conspiracy theory at the behest of another crazy billionaire at a time when misinformation was killing people. This is just banning anyone who reports truth he doesn't want to hear. Or want anyone else to hear. All the pearl clutching happening now didn’t seem to be a problem when Twitter suspended the NY Post’s entire account because they came out with the Hunter Biden laptop story. The refrain then was “it’s a private company”. It’s still a private company. 99.9999% of journalists/Twitter lifers are still there. They won’t leave because of this. The suspended ones will probably be reinstated soon. This is the smallest of problems in a world full of them.
We have a bingo0.000000000000000000000000000001% of his followers would even understand what you were talking about.
I'm sure I could come up with 100 different images to commemorate Trump's existence.
Toilet paper foot
Total Landscaping
Eclipse view
Bleach injection
Bible photo op (CLEAR THE STREETS!)
Baby Trump
Dumbrella
...feel free to add more
I want to add
The West Point ramp
The drinking water like a toddler
He’s the champion of free speech for morons. I’m not sure I follow. Hunter’s laptop may have been a stupid story but it wasn’t a conspiracy or misinformation. Unless the Post put something else up I forgot about? Not exactly apples to apples though, one was pushing a stupid conspiracy theory at the behest of another crazy billionaire at a time when misinformation was killing people. At the end of the day, you're right. Private company, can do what they want and I hope it cripples him financially. But let's not pretend the reactions should be the same when the underlying action isn't.
all those lizard people sound the sameI'm not sure I've ever heard him speak before...... don't think I've ever heard a Kardashian either
It was "abandoned" 2 years prior at a computer shop that happened to be owned by an alt-right supporting owner who turned a copy of the hard drive over to Rudy Giuliani after the FBI seized the physical laptop as part of a financial investigation of Hunter Biden. Giuliani gave it to Steve Bannon who then gave it back to Rudy who then shilled it to Fox, and the NY Post. When analyzed, the vast majority of the data on it could not be verified, particularly the stuff that the Post ran with. The information that could be verified pretty much proved that there was no wrongdoing by either of them. He’s the champion of free speech for morons. I just thought everybody knew this already.
