Defending Hitler might not be the flex you want. :L
Also, maybe one day they will learn how to spell it properly.

Also, you know you're in trouble when all you have left are ad hominem attacks.

The negotiations with the Trump Administration over CUSMA has probably been the highlight of the Trudeau Government thus far. This confirms it.

Well, I would also argue that he did a pretty good job (not with the vaccine rollout, but with the CERB related financial stuff) during the first 12-18 months of COVID-19.

To know they were in trouble, they would have to know what those fancy words mean.

So the right wing pivot is happening after the special election loss in NY.

I think he did relatively well with the vaccine rollout, I think some premiers shit the bed there more than anything. It also kind of showed what kind of friend we had in the US regardless of who's in charge with Biden refusing to allow any domestically-manufactured vaccine head north early on.

He did fine with Covid in terms of shelling out money, he did shit with it with regards to not following the SARS Inquiry recommendations for mitigating the spread of future viruses that could've made our earlier experience far more like Australia & NZ's rather than what it was. Again, some premiers (past and present - there were supposed to be stockpiles of ready-to-use PPE for situations like this maintained and they were left to expire & never replaced, then we had Shitbird down south ban 3M from sending us masks) also contributed to shitting the bed.

And the government money thing kinda backfired hard when he started leaning on the BoC to not raise interest rates before last fall's election. Maybe a certain amount of inflation was unavoidable but it really didn't have to be this bad (and to boot, the election was fucking pointless because he couldn't campaign his way out of a paper bag let alone back to a majority government). It was good to help people early on but those same people are likely the ones reeeeeally feeling the pinch at the moment.

But otherwise, he deserves credit it's on getting pipelines built (although he folded like a house of cards when Biden cancelled Keystone again, could've at least put up a bit of a stink). TMX could've been dead in the water were it not for them buying it. If the $10 daycare gets rolled out properly it could be huge. They've funded a good amount of transit.

There's still far smarter people in his party who could be doing more if he would just go away now.

Also, the argument about how is this fair for people who have repaid their student loans? Okay, say Joe decided to send out 10K cheques to those people who have repaid their loans. Do you think the right wing wouldn't be screeching in outrage over that decision as well?
