On the whole WTF is wrong with people front:

I'm actually not surprised as it's just an old school way of thinking - My 96 year old father-in-law has always voted conservative in elections in Canada regardless of who's running provincially or federally. Doesn't really look at policy initiatives etc., just looks for the Conservative logo on the ballot.

Also keep in mind that Rusty has had threats levelled against himself and his family, maybe he's just trying to tamp things down a bit.

Problem is, the people he is trying to protect himself from with that already see him as a traitor (trader?) because he didn't keep Trump in power.

Also, I can't help but ask if there was a number where this guy would have considered going ahead and fudging it? What would have been "close enough" for him to put his party above country? Investigate that.

And of course the next question is did any of the states Trump "won" do that? Were the numbers close enough for them to feel they could get away with it? Word is Ron Johnson in Wisconsin offered it up.

Didn't take long for Dr Oz to forget about Trump.

On top of the fact he forgets he lives in NJ and not PA.

I actually wince whenever I see a new story from there. Every single item gets so much worse.

She was alive when she went in the Ambulance. 55 minutes after being shot.
it's all leading to the discovery they shot kids

or maybe not ... things are bigger in Texas ... especially the coverups!

Thanks Biden.

7.7% hike in Canada - It's almost as if (and give me a minute) inflation is happening worldwide.
There's a few obvious self-inflicted reasons for inflation elsewhere, especially in Europe but ESPECIALLY in the UK, that explains a lot more why it's happening there but does little to explain why it's so bad here.

Get a grip on our gas price and get the interest rate where it should've been 6 months ago and we're probably in much better shape. BOC should probably just go for the full point hike next month and see if that gets us through the summer in better shape.

We should also invest in waffles. Tasty, tasty waffles.

Don't we still pay almost three times as much for Quebec maple syrup in Canada as compared to what they pay for it in the States? That's messed up.
Think that’s bad, don’t look at dairy.

A lot of our food prices were artificial to begin with.

I feel like this is something the government shouldn't be beholden to if Kinder Morgan's no longer involved.

Part of the reason why the value of Trans Mountain is declining as the project costs soar is due to the way oil companies pay for the use of the pipeline through tolling arrangements.

Due to Trans Mountain's existing long-term contractual agreements with oil shippers, only 20 to 25 per cent of the increased capital costs of the project can be passed on to oil companies in the form of increased tolls.

That means that about $7 billion in cost overruns must be absorbed by Trans Mountain itself, ultimately eroding the project's returns.

2 years of lowered profits for almost every single industry, and once everything returns to somewhat normalcy all those prices those industries control suddenly go WAAAY up.

Major oil companies recording record profits in the first quarter of 2022 - Are you telling me that they can't reduce the price of a gallon/litre of gas?
