I find it weird that Ford is constantly mentioned as “bungling” Covid but Legault and Horgan are let off the hook despite Quebec having more deaths in total despite having 60% of Ontario’s population and BC having nearly as many cases per capita as Ontario (and having done some truly stupid bullshit like delaying mask mandates, not locking down again until after March Break while vacation destinations like Whistler became inundated with cases and lifting basically all restrictions July 1 while the other major provinces basically have maintained theirs throughout).

Ford speaks like an asshat but policy-wise he’s done basically everything those other premiers have done and achieved similar results but apparently he’s “bungled” it terribly and it seems like the only reason for that is because he has the word “conservative” in his party name.
