When I was in HS we had this science teacher who was legally blind. He could see but just not very far. One day some students took a piece of masking tape and drew on it so it resembled a ruler. They taped it to the floor and let the entertainment commence.

She was Mike D's backbone early on and the reason why we *had* a decent grip on the virus early. So there is a bit of poetic justice to the idea of the most do-nothing senator we've had being replaced by someone known for competence.

Speaking of electric stuff, there is an abslute glut of cool electric cars that are going to be hitting the market in the next few years.

Here's a full list.

Pretty cool to see so many new automakers emerging in this market. Rivian and Lordstown are American companies to watch. And Polestar (a spinoff of Volvo) has some awesome looking designs. The EVs are certainly going to usher in a new era of car design as well.

Good Value: These pillows are 2 for $30 and absolutely fantastic - dont wear out fast, not too flat/puffy, great value.
Perfect Pillow: The Purple Harmony is the god damn Cadillac of pillows. It's super soft and spongy and yet totally supportive. It is $160, I was skeptical of spending that much on a pillow, but it's worth every cent.
