China's military spending went from $40 billion/yr in 2000 to $250 billion/yr today and they use slave labour on their construction sites.

And if China used private businesses to supply their armed forces like the US & other western nations do they're probably a lot closer to the US in military spending (not to mention did their own R&D instead of just stealing everything)

And they've been taking over the South China Sea and threatening Taiwan with invasion.

And the last two years of global hell was their fault, possibly because of poor containment practices in one of their labs (probably due to it being constructed using said slave labour).

I'm finding it really unfortunate that the only one to mention anything about foreign ownership so far during the election is Jagmeet and all he's proposing is a 20% tax.

Far as I can tell, the Liberals & Conservatives plans for housing seem actually geared toward making supply even more limited - helping "first time homebuyers" = trying to toss more buyers into an already crowded housing market. So glad we're working on our problems!
